Review on Farberware Stainless Steel FCP240 Percolator: Efficient Brewing for 2-4 Cups by Veronica Phillips

My family has had large and small Faberware coffee machines for many years. I bought a small 4 cup model for my dad less than two years ago. He uses it once a day in the morning. He takes good care of her (as well as everything else). Yesterday I noticed a dull spot in the base plastic and a small hole in the material. The hole exposed some kind of internal metal. I told my father to stop using the coffee pot immediately as I feared severe burns or even electric shock. I don't know if the warranty information posted on the Revain website is valid (it appears to cover cooking and baking products) but I will be returning the pot to the address given in that information.
