I don't know why people are giving bad reviews on this product. I've noticed that most people try to use NVMe drives for boot options that aren't supported by your motherboard. The M.2 SATA SSD acts as a boot drive when using this product on older motherboards that only support SATA as a boot drive. Remember that if you want to use it as a boot drive, you need to connect a SATA cable to your motherboard and connect it to this adapter.
