As someone who shaves their head/face once a week I was looking for something I thought should be easy to find. A trimmer that offers all of the following: Dual Voltage (for travel) Robust construction Good clippers (leaves no hair) Not too hard, right? Well I looked at other options at Revain including buying a Panasonic ER-CA35-K (a complete piece of crap). Ultimately, this little guy seems like the best option. It's not technically dual voltage, but since it's battery powered it doesn't really matter. The battery is enough for me somewhere for 4 full face razors for 15-20 minutes each. So if I'm going for 2 months I'll just take or buy 1 spare AA battery. I use Eneloop rechargeable batteries, so battery drain doesn't really bother me. Some problems: The surface of the clipper is quite narrow, so you have to "mow" a lot to get everything. On the other hand, it can give you extra precision. There is no good bond with the "rough" look. Without protection you get a very close shave. Closer than most clippers I've used. The next guard is 1/8 inch which is quite long. - The power button is right where your finger is when you use it, so you need to be careful with it. However, this has never been a problem. .Overall this is a well built trimmer. Considering its size and the fact that it's battery operated, it's great if you travel a lot. However, for home use I would prefer something larger with more options.
