Review on Continental PremiumContact 6 225/55 R17 97 year old by Micha Poklkowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturer's assurances, high quality.

On the racetrack for the very first time in my life, I caught a pit on the right side of the car, and both of the right wheels were slammed at once (to be replaced). There were also more major pits, but this was not the case with other summer/winter tires. As a result, I have decreased the grade for its durability. However, I will continue to ride them since I still enjoy riding them. In addition, the wear is consistent and modest, but there have been tires that have been more resistant, but they have automatically lost in terms of noise and softness. Prior to that, I had been using toyo proxes cf2, which were really soft and silent. I got them because I wanted them, but after only one season, I saw significant wear on the sidewalls. If you ask me about the pressure, I'll tell you that it was 2.4. When I bought them again for the next year, the pressure was already holding at 2.7, but the outcome was the same.

Pros
  • The ride is comfortable, quite silent (though not immediately; after approximately 2022 km), and the handling is top-notch.
Cons
  • Resistance of the sidewalls
