Review on Behringer Dynamic Microphone BA 85A by Geoff Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

READ IN FULL: @19$ GOOD @37$ BAD BAD BAD

These are the pros and cons of the microphone to look out for. There is good value for money. 2) The sound quality is very decent while standing. Good sound 3) Definitely high 180° deflection 4) All metal body, good grill MAJOR FAULTS 1) OPERATING NOISE. There are microphones with adjustable noise reduction, that's the point. This is a controlled noise amplifier. Everything is very loud.1 b) TERRIBLE LINK MIC. DO NOT PURCHASE IF THIS MICROPHONE IS EVER MOVED OR TOUCHED DURING RECORDING. 2) I don't know how "supercardioid" it is. My personal perception is an ordinary kidney. But the 180° angle is great, to be honest. 3) At full price you can get a Shure SM48 which blows this thing to dust how much better it is and it's the pinnacle of processing noise reduction. 4) This cheap rubber band thing can be glued without affecting production costs. Oh well. But that's a small thing. It's good for what it is, but you have to know and respect WHAT it is. Do not place or even touch the cord within 40 feet of the floor or table next to it. And then damn nice.

Pros
  • Fits many people
Cons
