Sounds good, works horribly

I tried it in live mode. Works great on a microphone stand. The pickup circuitry is as advertised and the sound quality is good. The downside is the control. It's hollow in the throat, causing your handling of the mic to reverberate and rise in your ringer speaker system, and that's pretty significant. Resonance is a killer for me.

I was dying to try Behringer's new inexpensive microphone. They have a track record of delivering healthy products at a reasonable price. Yes, this mic looks like a Beta 58A and sounds good. I used to buy one of the old Behringer Ultravoice XM8500. Just for fun to be honest since it was a $19 mic. How good can he be? Not bad.
