READ THIS! Check out the XBOX 360 Drive Replacement Guide on YouTube. You must remove the chipset from that drive and replace it with the chipset that you must remove from the original drive. They are linked to your specific XBOX. To do this, you need a soldering iron and solder. I was able to reuse the little solder that was already on the board.
