Review on 🍾 Pink Champagne Elegance: Casio Women's BG169G-4 Baby G Watch by Amber Robinson

I just received this watch today. So I can't say anything about durability and waterproofness yet. Will update in the future as I'm going on a trip soon where it will be tested (so 4 stars for now). I also have to say that I didn't manage to get this watch to use all of its features. I bought it mainly for daytime and evening timekeeping, dating and everyday use (including swimming). I chose this one from many that I researched, mainly because of the color. I can tell you I don't like pink at all. I prefer earthy colors: brown, orange, green, etc. However, the watch arrived in a padded case with an actual Casio box inside. They were dented so I got scared right away, but the watch itself was in a metal box so it wasn't damaged. The clock has been set, but not to my time zone. Luckily there were instructions included. I found it easy to understand and was able to set the date and time (actually accurate to the second) quickly and easily. As many other reviews say, the face is mirror-like. Yes, this can make it difficult to read in certain lighting conditions. However, I've walked around the house inside and out and haven't had any issues with timing. If the sun hits it a certain way, just wiggle your wrist a little and you should be able to see the face with no problem. Rose gold on the face is very attractive! This gives the watch a rich look (if that's possible for a "sports" watch). The group is very champagne, dark gray, flesh-colored, beige. (Take your pick) but it's definitely NOT pink or rose gold like the face. It has a nice glossy finish. The band is flexible and easy to put on. It's very comfortable on my 6 inch wrist. I don't think the face is too big, although that's a personal preference I suppose. In the daytime block, little animals will dance when you press the lights. Not necessary, but cute. The backlight is bluish, does its job and goes out quickly. As I said once I wear this for my trip I will update and comment on the durability of daily wear in very hot weather, sightseeing, parks and swimming. At the moment I can recommend this watch unreservedly. They appear to be very functional and really unique in color. *** DECEMBER 2017 UPDATE *** LOVE this watch! there were no problems with it at all. The only problem I had was when it came time to "fall behind" for Daylight Saving Time. I lost the instructions and couldn't remember how to set the time. Of course that was my problem. had nothing to do with the watch at all. After finding the instructions it was very easy to change the time. I changed my rating to 5 stars. Go and get yourself!
