My GS7 isn't fast charging

I bought this to fast charge my Galaxy S7 in my new car with USB-C, but it doesn't support fast charging in the car or with my Macbook Pro. It costs at normal rates. To be honest, I haven't tried other USB-C to Micro USB cables, so this might be my phone, although it charges quickly with other lighter plug-in chargers.
