I think they are pretty well designed. It's not the most durable tool you'll have, but I can say they don't move side to side on hinges and feel crisp to me. operation and use. I've tested some of these on regular engine bay clamps and they worked fine for me. They held onto the ends of the yoke, allowing me to take it off and put it back on without too much trouble. It's a lot easier than regular pliers, that's for sure. The carrying case has space for every tool, but no extra space. The case itself is good, but in my opinion with a shortcoming. The buckles that lock it are very flimsy and can easily break. I wish they were made differently. I tested their durability on myself to see if they would work for me, there is a picture showing my method. I took the pliers with the thinnest teeth, then took another pair out of the box and used them as leverage to break the first pliers open. It worked really well and gave me a lot of leverage and I couldn't break my teeth. Take this with a grain of salt as it was the best test I could do but I think these tools are working great for me. Even if the ratchet breaks, it still works like a clamp pliers, with just one less function. If you have ever attempted to remove a clamp with regular pliers then you already know and understand the value of these tools. This set is aimed more at the DIY enthusiast than someone who needs it every day in the workshop. All in all a good set of tools for home players to have on hand when they need them.
