I currently have a phone holder for the grille but then saw this one that can be either window mounted or dash mounted. I chose the dashboard and I am very satisfied! My air vent mounted clamp could not be mounted next to the steering wheel as it would interfere with the windshield/headlight mount so it had to be mounted to the right of my stereo which resulted in me having to take my eyes off the road for longer than I would like to see. This mounts as close as I need without having to reach out or interfere with driving, and best of all, it has a low profile and doesn't block the view of the road like window mounts do ! That's a great bonus! Solidly built and not weakened much, if at all, by road vibrations. I'm very happy with it and I think you will be too!
