I am a very picky reviewer. My 8 year old son has been using this bag all season so the review has been updated. So far he's held up incredibly well. I have compared it to other bags of other more expensive brands that children have. Overall it's well constructed and has two extra pockets. The top pocket can be used for phone, keys, wallet, etc. In the lower pocket fit shoes very comfortably. The main bag contains a helmet, a cap, a batting glove and 2 gloves (son and father), a pair of baseballs. The external pockets are large enough for a racquet and a water bottle and also have a very strong hanging hook. The zips are also strong/durable and the stitching is strong (again all season with no rips, tears etc either inside or outside the lining). The bungee cord has not been used on the outside but is strong and good. Buying another one for my other son who will be 6 years old. I think this bag can be used from 5 to 12 years old.
