I wasn't even sure I wanted to order this as it didn't have a proper 'handle' but after using it for two days I found the design really appealed to me like it, and I prefer my regular non-travel size irons. I have really small hands and that seems right. I can squeeze it easily and the end your hands go to doesn't get hot and even without a grip you can get a nice tight contact and easily pull it down the length of your hair. The plates are great, they are full size and have no resistance, in fact my very expensive flat iron has way more resistance than this one, it glides smoothly and doesn't stick or catch on my hair. The design works well with both straight hair and light curls, or if you know what you're doing, you can do it in a spiral. It doesn't have temperature control so you have no way to change it, but it heats up to 410 and stays there and it works fine for me. You have the option to close and lock it for easy travel. I love this item and will definitely buy more.
