Review on πŸ”Œ Nintendo Compatible Powerline Keychain Charger by Kyle Miller

Portability is its only strength

I bought this device with the intention of using it with an external solid state drive that I carry with me. I had to send it back as the transfer rate was literally 10x slower than the correct transfer cable. I went from 452MB/s to 44MB/s. The cable only has 4 pins [USB 2.0] inside and is primarily intended for charging. It's handy in a pinch, to be honest, but it doesn't even charge that well. None of the three cables I tested charged over 1520mA with an official Samsung charger or my Anker 18W power bank. They also don't show "fast charging" during use. The connectors are about what you would expect at this price point, they flex in the rubber case with some pressure. If you really need a 4 inch cable for portability I'd say it's a good deal for the price, but if you want something better that supports fast charging and USB 3.0 speeds I'd suggest going after look for one of the shorter cables. by Anker, Aukey or Cable Matters.
