I finally got to use this little piece of wonderful technology and it was awesome. I had a colleague who had a brake caliper explode so he hired another colleague who had to have replacement car experience. That. After this man made a HUGE mess with brake fluid all over the place, I insisted on finishing and bleeding the front brakes. I was done in no time with no mess. (Follow all bleed procedures and vehicle manufacturers to flush or bleed your vehicle's brakes.) A quick example of using this bleed: simply connect the 2 supplied hoses to a new bleeder and press down on the supplied clamps. Connect the assembly to the caliper and connect the hose behind the arrow (marked on the air outlet) to the air outlet on the caliper. the other end of the hose into a container to catch the old fluid, open the bleed valve on the caliper (usually half a turn, maximum a full turn). Now just step on the brake pedal a few times and stop to check the brake fluid level. new brake fluid in the master cylinder and the color of the leaking fluid. Once the fluid coming out is the same as the fluid coming in (almost clean), close the outlet valve, add new fluid and continue. to the next. Usually the latter, starting with the passenger's rear caliper, works as the driver's front caliper.
