Very dark! It doesn't look like you have a light on. The first day I had blink mode and they lasted almost 8-9 hours. You must be 2-6 feet away to see if the light is on. From afar, no one will see your jewelry, which is useless if no one sees it! The second day I kept turning them on and they lasted 4-5 hours before going off. Well it's only been 2 days since I bought them and I really didn't like them. The product itself is poor and you can't beat electricity or solar power. Electric would be much better and brighter for hours! Try these solar lights for the first time! Also, my house is sloping and only one side gets all the sunlight and the other side doesn't get the sun just daylight. I would appreciate if the solar panels were detached from the wire itself so we could place them in the sun and reattach them! But the cables are attached to the plate, so you can't move them unless you take all the bulbs with you. I think this option should be available for all solar powered lights. So overall not a good concept, especially for the winter season when it's snowy and cloudy.
