Expensive but worth every cent for me. If you want quality for your new high-end Macbook Pro that has the money, then this is for you!

I have a black protective sleeve that needed to be filed slightly on the left side. It should fit snugly against the side of the laptop. So depending on which protective case you have, you may need to ensure that the ENTIRE length of the device fits snugly against the Macbook. At the same time, its space gray color matches the color of the laptop, which is surprising. It uses 2 USB ports but has 2 USB-C ports and an HDMI output cable that works fine on my 4K TV. It has 2 USB 3.1 ports, a memory card reader and a micro card reader, so you don't need an adapter for today's 256GB or larger miniports. When I bought it, it cost $99, which I thought was expensive given other models available. At the same time, you get what you pay for. This is a great product, looks elegant and is designed for the MacBook Pro. I have a 2016 13" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, the best thing to buy in early Summer 2017. Shortly after the new update was released, the difference was negligible. I was so in love with my new MacBook and how easy it was to carry around was and how quiet it was that I only wanted to fit the best of the best on each side so it completely takes up the entire side Because of the USB-C power cord, I was curious if it could only charge on one side (right Side, but no, left or right, you can just plug the device in and then plug the power cord into either of the two USB-C ports on the device.I connected 2 USB 3.1 hubs and connected about 8 devices through this hub and everything worked perfectly HDMI output with 4k support was pretty amazing Brand new HDMI cable but for some reason I expected 1080p but was surprised it was 4k made the text on the icons se hr easy to read, I was able to use my 65 inch tv in quality with no problem on your extended monitor. Although I don't actually do it, it's pretty good if you want to play videos. I use both Plex and an Apple TV (currently 4 that don't support 4k) so it's nice to be able to connect directly and get a higher resolution as the Apple TV is limited to 1080p and most programs don't have video from one Format can convert to 1080p real time so they are usually 720p so for your cpu. I use Stream2Me and Air Play HD on my Apple TV along with Plex on my Apple TV and the comparison between AirPlay is quite striking as HDMI is much clearer. Even using 3rd party apps like Air Parrot 2 with excellent AC wireless that covers mine around the house, sometimes it's easier to just plug in an HDMI cable. I've used the HDMI output at several conferences and meetings and the fact that the HDMI input is on the top makes it a lot easier. So nothing but good things to say about it I would mention the issue with the slipcovers and I don't need to be blunt. I will attach pictures to show what I mean.
