I cover every mattress in this house because life goes on. I recently bought a new adjustable bed for my aging aunt. This case has a soft feel despite being a bit noisy. Not like crackling plastic or rubber pants. Enough to let you know you're not lying directly on the mattress. Machine wash normally before putting it on the bed. It's holding up quite well because I folded it down, pulled it out just before it was completely dry, and hung it up to finish drying. I do this with all of our mattress pads. Provides durability only. Fits a 10" Twin XL memory foam mattress like it was made just for him. Hasn't slipped or been moved, although this bed can perform acrobats. Most mattress pads in this price range have the feel of tarps or colored sheets. Very good value for money. I would buy again.
