It is very comfortable. I've never liked mid-rise athletic socks. I found it difficult to get both feet equally comfortable. One sock would be higher than the other and that would only bother me, even if it was just for looks. I finally found sports socks that I like. They are very comfortable, do not slip down the leg. They're pretty soft, not itchy like other "dry fit" socks I've had. It has a soft feel, but that's just the thickness of the sock itself. It's definitely a little different than some of the other socks I own. I like the simple design and look. The socks are elastic and breathable. Perfect for sweaty feet like mine. I don't smell my own socks, but I haven't noticed a bad smell emanating from them yet. Maybe it's because it's new or I'm just not working hard enough (because of the cold weather). If this continues, I will buy more pairs.
