Short term results are very good so far. Facilitates preventive washing. Need to see how long it takes to make a long term recommendation. As many others have said, the success of this ceramic, like any other, lies in OCD's preliminary work and attention to detail during the application of the ceramic. I've used these on wheels and actually found them a lot more reliable. Good results on wheels so far. The general order I followed was: 1) Regular wash 2) Iron-x (I applied them with an auto wet solution) 3) Sprayed with a diluted degreaser solution, rubbed and rinsed 4) Washed with dishwashing liquid (AJAX) 5) Clay bar , then washed 6) Mixed with DA using Mequiars 7) Sprayed with 25% alcohol (mixed with distilled water) and wiped and dried 8) Small ceramic sections/slabs applied at once (divide cap into 3 sections) FOLLOW directions for Applying the ceramic, spray applied prep, with prep spray ALL STILL wet, I used the included foam applicator liberally and evenly covering crossing passageways horizontally and vertically, waited about 1 or 2 minutes (DO NOT LET TOO CLOSE TO DRY), a MF towel sprayed with distilled water (damp, not soaking wet)) and press in/finally distribute the product, then IMMEDIATELY apply a separate MF Use a cloth to buff and wipe off product residue (it is important that you do this step 100% otherwise you will have burrs that need to be finished (reinforced). I applied this product to two cars and used the method above. There were two small stains on the first car that I did not completely remove. Both were instances where the damp cloth used to push/distribute the product moved outside of my intended work area (where individual body panels meet) and I was unable to catch and erase it.
