I have two cats with very sharp claws that tear through everything so I didn't use fillers for many years until I found them. I've been using them for about a week now and not only do they NOT snap, but they stay in place with the straps and don't "stick" to the stuffing I use (clumping neat cats) or any mess. My cats leave behind. Facilitates scooping and protects the litter box from unpleasant odors that stick to the bottom and sides without an insert. This product does more than advertised and I am very satisfied. I haven't had to change the liner yet, so can't speak to the ease of the swap, but judging by how it keeps my tray clean and odor-free during daily scooping, I'm already pleased.
