Review on Zicome Hand Blown Magnet Magnetic Hourglass by Kate Johnson

This is my third magnetic/lead coated hourglass that I have bought in the last four years. The design flaw relates to the thin glass and the lack of a rubber gasket around the magnet at the base. Never grab this hourglass by the neck or the middle, only the base, and carefully remove it with both hands and gently place it on the base. I collect watch glasses. I didn't want to order this again but my granddaughters are fascinated by iron filings. I don't expect this to last very long due to the concerns I mentioned earlier.
