I received these bulbs to try as an alternative to Philips Hue Color bulbs. They don't need a hub to work. It took me a little time to set them up, but I managed. I installed them in my office. Two in the ceiling light and two in the lamp. I followed the guide to set it up and it was very easy to set it up with Alexa. I have named them differently and can let Alexa manage them individually or all at once. I can't say anything about the feeling of durability, I just installed them. But in terms of colors and brightness, they are exactly the same as the Philips Hue bulbs. I probably spent over 30 minutes setting up four tubes while it wouldn't have taken you that long with Phillips. But for the price of 4 bulbs for $36 compared to a Phillips Hue of the same size for $40, it was definitely worth the time. I am satisfied with them and recommend them to others.
