I don't know what I would have done after wrist surgery without them. I needed it for about 10 days and the only place I could find it was here on Amazon. I'm a nurse and knew I would need something to put my hand on my heart after surgery. Thank god I had it. I slept in the chair for about 4/5 nights and kept ice on it for 24 hours. Yes, you have to do that to stop taking more painkillers. The ice I received was the CryoMAX refillable, latex-free, 8 hour ice pack, medium, 12 x 6 inches (1 count) and I had a couple to change on sale and they last almost 6 hours. Take my advice if you have any type of wrist, hand, or thumb surgery that you need.
