Everything I was hoping for

What I Expected. I love the look! And the hinge/magnetic closure is elegant and functional. The only thing I'm not happy with is the same complaint as other reviews: the chemical smell is quite unpleasant. I cleaned it and set it to dry and air out the smell which helped. I just sprinkled with salt, I hope it doesn't affect the taste. I use different types of table salt and I like that this design gives the content a special personality. I have other bamboo salt containers but I think this one is my favorite.
