Don't trust the size charts
I bought the 2X first and it was too small. Sent it back and ordered 3X and 4X hoping one of them would work. No luck, they were marked 3X and 4X but none were longer than 2X. Don't waste time ordering this product if you want the belt to fit more than 44" waist. Will ship 3X and 4X back ASAP.
