I bought these for indoor use as I'm light sensitive and needed something to brighten my face on zoom calls without giving me a headache. That works great! It's warm enough not to tire your eyes and soft enough to go relatively unnoticed. It adds just the right amount of light for working in a darkened office or reading by the bed. I liked it so much that I also hung it on a lamp next to my bed. It's not the most comfortable or cozy light for a room, but it's good if you're overly sensitive. The bulbs are also cold to the touch compared to non-LED bulbs, so I didn't have a problem with a hot lampshade.
