I have a ranch dog so they are not very used to being around people and other dogs. I bought them to have a collar that would stay in place when camping. My girls were very well behaved but just wanted extra control insurance if they were attacked by another dog. I don't really like metal choke chains so I decided to try these. They are cool! Comfortable around dog's neck, very durable and easy to use. I would suggest going up a size as I wear it over my head. It works great with the large size. Great collar and great service from the company!
