Everyone seems to want something different in light temperature. Personally, all lighting in my home uses a color temperature of 6000-6500K, or daylight as this is the most natural form of light. Unfortunately, this is not a very popular choice as lighting that supports true daylight is hard to come by. These custom upgrades are color selectable, making them easy to customize to meet your specific needs. Installing aftermarket accessories is easy. First set the desired color temperature by sliding the knob on the back of the lamp. Then remove the lamp and any covers or baffles from the light. Remove and install the lamp adapter that came with this light, and then reconnect the light to the adapter. Finally, squeeze the spring hanger bars on each side of the mount and insert into the mount or holes in the glass mount to complete the installation. Performance wise, I installed all six of these lights in minutes and they all worked. Big. There is no flickering when turning on or off and they respond instantly. At full power they are incredibly bright. Dimming worked smoothly. Can't comment on durability as I've only had them for a little over 2 months, but they work great every day. Based on the price of these attachments (6 for less than $60!) and the overall quality of the product, I would not hesitate to order them again.
