This happened to me today while walking my dog on a leash in a public parking lot. This was only the 4th or 5th time I've used the collar. I was very lucky that my dog was not hit and I was able to catch him. He's a jet rescue I've only had for two weeks. He ran across the street and luckily the car didn't pull up. If he had come into contact with another dog or child that would have frightened him, I'm not sure I would have taken legal action. I was very fortunate that a quiet stranger was able to hold on to his harness without hurting himself.
