Bought a size 14/16 for a skinny 13 year old 5 foot 2100 lb boy. I like the shorts because the waist is unusually skinny allowing the shorts to stay on without tightening the drawstring at the waist. I will buy him more of these. However, the waist is too small for an 11 year old boy of average build, 5ft 2in, 110lbs who normally wears a size 14/16 and tightens the drawstring at the waist to put the shorts on.
