I bought these lamps to replace 250 watt metal halide wall lamps. All of my wall units are 25-40 feet tall and are installed on the sides of commercial buildings. I was tired of lugging those heavy things up the stairs to change ballasts and I was also hoping to see REAL dollar savings on my $2900+ monthly electric bill. I manage a large air conditioned warehouse made up of several 3 story buildings and each building has at least EIGHT wall units + 4 HVAC units per building so I see HUGE energy bills! I've been using these corn bulbs for over a year now and have noticed significantly lower energy bills. This is Auzilar. TERRIFIC! I have (in the past) purchased lightbulbs from several different vendors and from several different brands of corn style LED lightbulbs. Just to see what's better. After my last experience. I will not buy them from anyone else! About a week after installing these two bulbs, one started flickering and went out the next night. I checked the power at the lamp socket with my meter and the socket stabilized at 115 VAC, so I blamed the lamp and requested a warranty replacement. "Payment. You know what exercises some of these companies offer you. but no! I contacted Auzilar and they apologized for the blown bulb and sent me a replacement bulb that TAG. I tracked them down. They didn't ask for that either I come back blown bulb and took ZERO DOLLARS THIS IS THE WARRANTY THESE PEOPLE HAVE BEFORE AND EVEN FAST FORWARD A LITTLE OVER A MONTH THE SAME DEVICE flickers again so I get up to remove the bulb and upon closer inspection ( with the power off!) I see that there is a lot of corrosion on the inside of the base! Swapped base and voila! The bulb worked for a week without flickering! So I pulled out another "bad" bulb that it originally had guaranteed in a new version. And it burns for well over a week without flickering! I'm assuming the sharp, pointy ends of my fluke test tool ts have cut through the corrosion, but not the smooth metal base of the bulb. I'm an idiot for not 100% checking the problem before blaming the lightbulb. But I'm not a scammer. I contacted Auzilar and explained what I had done and offered to pay them for a second bulb. Your Answer? Keep is our gift. From now on it's my business! This should also reach YOUR business! These people are really good business people! And their 55w corn lamp shines as bright as a 250w metal halide lamp from 30 feet for MUCH less money!
