This is a great basic projector with great picture quality and brightness. Even in a well-lit room (bright enough for reading and a lot brighter than I usually watch TV), the picture is clearly visible, even with large formats. In a dark or dark room it's very bright and bright, although it's much easier on the eye than a comparable sized TV because you're seeing a reflected image. My picture is taken with a screen diagonal of about 60 inches with a reading lamp in the room. Good connectivity for most peripherals and an easy-to-use remote control. The built-in speakers are louder than I expected and can be used in a small room or when moving the system anywhere, but you'll likely need external speakers for a permanent setup. The fan is fairly quiet and cannot be heard more than 5 feet away due to typical ambient noise. Keystone correction is surprisingly good and works great for my sloping walls. Fantastic value overall.
