I bought this for my caravan (20ft) and chose it deliberately so I didn't have to connect anything and the advertised camera distance was longer than other brands. I charged and connected the battery. It was really just a few screws, then adjusting the camera angle (which all other solar cameras don't do!) and adjusting the viewer. The viewer is beautiful and comes with multiple mounts. I went with the vent mount but I can move it. Image quality is ok. Not sure if it's the camera or the screen or both, but it gets the job done. I can see what's behind me when I'm backing up. An added benefit is that I can turn it on while driving to get a better view of what's behind me when changing lanes. This is not what a regular fixed cable backup camera does. The battery seems to last a long time and charges very well via the solar panel. My few quibbles: 45 seconds viewing time. I would like to keep these longer. Some competitors let you set it up to 90 seconds. When trying to maneuver a trailer into a tight spot, the extra time without having to stop and turn it back on comes in handy. Screen/camera quality. Again, I'm not sure who's to blame, but it's not for the best. this is certainly not the worst and I see what I need.
