Review on ☕ Calphalon 14-Cup Programmable Stainless Steel Drip Coffee Maker with Glass Carafe, Enhanced Performance Heating by Heather Preston

I love this coffee pot. I don't buy the most expensive coffee or grind the beans myself, and the coffee still tastes the best of any coffee maker I've had in years. The 4 hour hotplate plus adjustable platen temperature is fantastic. I use 4 hours on medium and it never burns my coffee. I can't use a permanent filter, I'm allergic to metal, but paper works really well with this pot. The only problem I had was getting the right amount of soil for the pot. Even the very strong coffee I made was delicious and not bitter. LOVE THIS POT. Can't say enough about it. It looks very good, just the right size and the pot is easy to handle. I broke my wrist and it gets fussy about balance and picks up and pours out a pot with no problem. Does not drip when watering. It has a feature I've never seen before. A rubber seal that runs over the pot to direct the condensate back into the vessel. This helps keep the coffee blend right and was a very smart idea. I've learned that if you place the pot in the holder and turn the handle sideways, the seal will seat properly every time.
