Installation is simple: just tilt down and then up. It is best to refer to the product's stock photos for a better visual explanation. Don't hook one end to the other, it won't work. Very strong when installed. I would squeeze it a bit to test before using it just in case. Suitable for all family cars I've tried. If you have a two seater sports car with limited sliding space and/or a huge beer belly, thick molded plastic may not be for you. The material is suitable for the intended purpose. Don't use it as a shield, ramp, you'll be fine. Enough space for an individual combo lunch in a fast food restaurant. Good to use during the pandemic as some places are not fully open yet; and when they do; cannot trust people who sneeze while eating outdoors or indoors. In laptop mode (just turn it over) there may not be enough space for the mouse. The touchpad must be used. Unless you put a mouse pad or armrest tray under your knees. Any size laptop will do, you just need to balance the center of gravity. All in all a very practical car accessory. It's better to eat from a bag on your knees while you work.
