For the price these towels are excellent. Dense, absorbent, good size, excellent quality. This is the perfect size and style for drying, polishing and cleaning our vehicles. To properly dry a wet car, they must first be soaked and wrung out. Just like a suede towel. Being wet is important to actually help dry the wet surface. If you use them to polish eg paintwork or glass, they should be used dry. Compared to the microfiber towel bags that you can get cheap, these are a whole lot better. You pay a little more, but the size and softness make up for it. As for cleaning, be sure to wash them in hot water, but only tumble dry low. Hot water is needed during washing to loosen the dirt from the fibers. However, only use a low temperature cycle when drying, otherwise the fibers may melt. DO NOT wash them with cotton towels (or anything else that will clog the fibers). Also, avoid fabric softeners, which can also clog fibers. Use only a simple detergent or special microfiber soap for cleaning. Overall these towels are very impressive, highly recommend!
