Advantages It is very secure and not easy to fall off. Won't pierce a tie like a pin and isn't as obtrusive as a necklace. The decoration piece was tasteful and sophisticated since I chose the round hexagonal version. Cons: The back is REALLY thick. My shirts are thin and sometimes I felt the lining. Not bad, but I noticed it. The magnet is a little scary at how strong it is. I wouldn't want to stick my finger between the front and back, so I'd be happy with a thinner, less strong back. For the price it would be nice to have a second top plate, or the other side in a different design. Then it would be possible to buy more at the lowest price.
