Listen to the Reviews. I'm a pro and wanted something cheap to craft and practice with. I prefer thicker gels for most of my work. Also thinner for some things. So I was kind of ready to read the comments. Overall, IBD has a thicker viscosity, but it's just TOO thick. I don't know if it's expired or something, but it's not easy to work with. I work with acrylic and gel, but mostly with gel. I've tried countless brands and seen all kinds of colors and textures. The color is beautiful and I like to find it regularly. I tried a thin layer and then encapsulated it in a transparent one but that didn't work because it's a bit transparent so it had spots on it where it was more opaque. It's generally impossible to level as it doesn't self-level. I've worked with similar gels but they usually have some movement, albeit slight. It was just a waste of money and time. Hope that helps
