Review on 🔊 High-performance Sewell Silverback Speaker Wire, 12 AWG with OFC, Silverback Banana Plugs, 259 Strand Count, 25 ft by Dakota Tailor

I bought these cables to connect my Rotel RA-1062 amplifier to a pair of Elac FS77 floorstanding speakers. The music source is a Cambridge Audio Azur 540C V2 CD player connected to the amplifier via Audioquest G-Snake connections. These Silverback cables have replaced a pair of compact transparent Monster XP speaker cables. After an initial few days of play, I didn't notice much of a difference in the highs, but I did notice a definite improvement in the lows. Music sounded more engaging in the lower and mid-bass without losing resolution in the upper mids and highs. Overall, the presentation sounded better; there was no dirt and the soundstage remained intact. I would recommend these instead of the Monster XP cables. The Monsters (XP) were better than a pair of Philips 14AWG speaker wires I tried a while ago - they were thicker than the Monsters but sounded muddy so I didn't know what to expect. with those silverbacks. But to my ears they sound far better than the monsters.
