To make this work I had to open the sock at the end of the o-ring and ignore the metal o-ring, then thread the heat shielded spark plug wire through the sock, and then fold the unsewn end back into the sock (just because there were fewer metal rings to begin with gave) . If it was plug and play it would be 5 stars. I hope it helps.
