Bought this hob with Revain extended warranty. One of the burners stopped working 2.5 years later. As it was still under manufacturer warranty I contacted the company for a replacement, what a nightmare! Your representative was rude! She let me check my electrical box, take pictures and accused me of not wiring the hob properly (it was wired by a licensed electrician)! I assured her it was wired correctly but I couldn't get into my wall to be sure but I think it's been working for 2.5 years with no problems so it shouldn't be an electrical plumbing issue. She told me she would send a replacement the same day it arrived, I should send her a non-working one, but she must have my credit card number, I asked why and she said make sure I have a non-working one send and if i don't send back the non working one they charge me for the new one they sent and they only charge my credit card if i don't send back the non working one, standard practice she said. So I found it weird and hesitated but I needed my hob so I gave her my credit card number with the intention of sending them a broken one. She then tells me that she will email me a form to fill out for the warranty and that they must fill out this form before sending a replacement. The form says that I will actually be charged (my credit card) if they receive my non-working hob and find that it is faulty due to my fault (faulty wiring). Now here is the problem I had. Who determines that in this company? I don't know if they even have the right to determine what went wrong with it and how do I know if they are blaming me for a non-working hob as something I did wrong just to break the warranty and , By By the way, they're going to charge me $400.00 plus shipping on a credit card! Revain is listing this item for $300 with free shipping. I told her I would contact Revain before signing anything and see what they say and if the extended warranty I bought from Revain will give me a new hob as a replacement. So when I called Revain and explained all the confusion, Revain didn't hesitate to honor the extended warranty I bought from them when I first bought the hob and immediately sent me a free replacement! Thanks Raven, you are the best! I will never buy from the company (Kenyon) that makes this product in the future as they have concerns about the doubt and agony I went through with them to honor the warranty on this product. I have since read other reviews as well and realized that this happened with this hob model when one of the burners went out. I would not recommend Kenyon.
