Review on Computer speaker Harman/Kardon SoundSticks 4 white by Siu Young ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality, not a great product.

. The weekend came, I was able to tinker with the equalizer, listen to different music. What can I say - I set it up decently, they sound at least no worse than my old JVC RX-EXA10, only I didn’t set up the JVC, but took it out of the box, turned it on and enjoyed all these 10+ years. With these speakers, you need to constantly climb into the equalizer, but they can give out a decent sound. Therefore, I raise it to three stars - minus a star for "needs to be tuned", although they are positioned as "got it, turned it on, enjoy", again, this is Harman / Kardon; and minus a star for the fact that you need to set up a long and painful.

Pros
  • Design
Cons
  • The sensations are exactly the same as those of the first person. The bass is disgusting, ruining the whole stage. Listening is unrealistic. Moreover, there is a feeling that these are internal settings, because the sub enhances the bass of all ranges, not only the lowest ones - when you try to turn them to a minimum (trying to hear what is so disturbing there), the bass still remains, and the scene disappears. Once on the radio in the car there was such a function as loudness, it’s as if it was turned to the maximum. I'm still struggling with the equalizer, apparently it's time to study it tightly and deeply. My android supports Hi-res bluetooth output, and the equalizer is deeper there, so something works. On my old iPhone 5es, the regular equalizer with the "bass reduction" setting gives a rather pleasant sound, the girl also managed to more or less adjust it through the music, focusing on the android equalizer. In other words, don't expect too much from her. There is a service connector on the back panel, I hope Harman Kardon will hear their customers and roll out a firmware ate. You should try contacting the dealership. Volume control is not terrible, but very inconvenient. If you come home at 11 pm, and you want to listen loudly, but not so much, then it won’t work out that way - it’s quiet at the conditional 4th position, you want it louder, and at 5 it’s already excessive and you want to make it quieter. At 6-7 it is already uncomfortable to talk to each other. The maximum volume is needed, apparently, for a concert in the country. This is all talking about volume levels from the phone, of which there are usually 20-25 in total.
