Based on other reviews I doubt people used this filler long enough before the reviews came out or their experience of using it other brands of cat litter is completely used up. the opposite of me. My cat and I have some food intolerances which made it a bit difficult to find good litter, not to mention the brand I use has changed a bit since the pandemic and hasn't been as good since then . Haven't had any luck with other brands so far so I figured when this popped up on my Vine page to try it couldn't hurt to give it a try as I've been so disappointed lately. My cat tends to be very picky about small litter, discarding it in heaps outside the crate, and is somewhat intolerant of smelly litter. It's a great filler with a slight lemon scent, so that must have been a problem for him. First, it's not as easy as they boast. It's still a 17-pound bag, so don't expect the bag to be easily lifted without having to carry another 17 pounds around. I think people are confused about how to describe it. It's not as heavy as a box. I usually understand that the weight of the other brand is a bit lighter. The first day I used it, my cat jumped out of the box a little like he usually does with small kitty litter, so I figured it was done and he'd never like it. After 3 weeks it was the only time he did which came as a shock. It leaves a small mark, but that's typical of any kitty litter, and it's not as bad as the ones I've used. He doesn't seem to notice the smell at all, which is also unusual for him. It's not strong enough to even smell, except when you just pour it out of the bag and that's just getting your nose closer to it. I have severe allergies and can't smell it at all in the room I keep it. It covers the bedding much better than ever. He's never been this bad, but he's been through spells. I actually have to use a shovel to check for clumps because it works so well now. Since I started using it, I haven't had any odor problems at all. Crate. I've been walking for 2 weeks now. I've never had a brand that lasted so long. The price is higher than I'm used to paying, but since it lasts twice as long I'll still pay about the same for it, or maybe even less. I intend to continue purchasing this filler if it becomes available.
