Pet Carrier on Backpacks

Was hoping to use this for my 20 and 32 lb dog. The outer material used is very high quality and durable. While this is great and makes me feel like it can support the weight of one of my dogs, it makes carrying a 32 lb Beagle mix REALLY heavy. The inner material scratches very easily, but as long as it doesn't break through it's ok. He has a harness that attaches to a collar. There are so many mesh areas here that they give a lot of fresh air. I'm concerned about the strength of the mesh to keep my noisy 20 lb chi mix inside. There is an extra mini pocket but I'm not sure if I'll use it or not. The bag is tall and narrow; Unless the dog is smaller or slimmer, it can get very tight for them. Both of my dogs didn't like it but it had nothing to do with the bag itself, they just didn't like being in it. My neighbor has 2 small dogs who are getting older and are a perfect match (separately not together), they are easygoing and don't mind being around at all. The option to enter from the top or the side is HUGE and a lot easier to get puppies.
