I bought a car without an antenna. Due to the position of the base of the antenna, I was only able to climb up there once. It was perfect because it came with so many adapters etc. It is there. As far as reception goes, it's better than nothing. Not very good but I'm glad I have more than one station. If you want this to improve your reception and you already have an antenna, you'll probably want to try something else. If you're unsure of the size of your connectors and/or don't have an antenna, this is a great deal.
