Here's the thing. All in all, it's a cheap alternative that seems okay with one downside so far. It will only fit the included Arca nameplate. I've tried other plates like Arca and the jaws just didn't open wide enough. Luckily I had the foresight to buy an extra baseplate and I was lucky they didn't weld or glue the baseplate to the ball. So I just removed their base plate and replaced it with the one provided in the link and the problem was solved. However, I shouldn't have done it. The supplier should correct this issue and make an adjustment to ensure the jaws open wide enough to accommodate standard panels. Finally, I would like to mention that I use smaller mirrorless cameras, so I'm not sure if this fits a heavier DSLR.
