I manufacture a full line of natural and organic personal care products. I wanted to add soap to my range to have an additional product that would sell well all year round. As my daughter has sensitive skin/allergies I also wanted to try making it for personal/family use. I had never made soap in my life and the thought of dealing with lye scared me. So I decided to start with Melt & Pour. I ordered 6 pounds of this organic melt and pour soap base and am very happy with it. I don't have any other soap making experience to compare but the soap I made smelled wonderful and had great lather. So far I've made Lavender Soap and Orange Vanilla Soap, add other organic oils, herbs and essential oils to make it your own. Soap sweats a lot. I'm assuming this is normal, but I'll have to take a closer look to see what I can do about it.
