Some advertised uses are incorrect
Do not use plastic "straw" flagsticks in turf or compacted ground. Plastic chopsticks are no thicker than drinking straws and easily wrinkle under load. Yes, they are suitable for children, parties as toys. If you want to stick it in the ground, use a steel rod to make a hole and then carefully insert the flag. I'll be taking that extra step as I don't have time to reorder or return. They were cheap so no tears.
