The light wasn't bad on installation, although I had to buy small washers (size #6) to put over the small round nuts to get the top of the light to touch the ceiling. Otherwise the wires will be visible. And the glass shell must be held firmly during installation so that it does not wobble to the side. When replacing lamps, you need to pay attention to this. But the light is beautiful. I installed two daylight quality 100w LED bulbs (actual power: 13w each) and the light made the room warm and welcoming. I am happy with this purchase.
